ABOUT THE HOST!
Lexi Lewis is a native of Cleveland, Ohio but resides in the Tampa Bay area. She graduated from Arcadia University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management then went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems. She has over 25 years in the corporate world in the Information Technology field as an IT Business Analyst.
In addition, Lexi Lewis is a Celebrity Journalist, Announcer, and Radio Host. She is an 11-year Contributing Writer for Smooth Jazz Magazine and has interviewed many celebrities including the late George Duke, Larry Carlton, Fred Hammond, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Scotty McCreery, and Robert Lamm of the legendary group Chicago.
She’s also interviewed legends like Temptations founder Otis Williams, Eddie Levert Sr. of the O’Jays, and Emmy Award-winning veteran actor Obba Babatunde. She received IMDB credit for Co-Hosting the 2015 Chicago Music Awards and has worked production at the 2015 Stellar Awards. In early 2019, she hosted the Black Women in Jazz and The Arts Awards with actor Lamann Rucker of Greenleaf whose been in various hit box office movies.
In addition to writing, Lexi emcees private events and large music festivals and has launched her own magazine called “LLO Magazine” where you can find celebrity interviews in the Entertainment section coupled with information on Health and Business. You can check out the magazine at llomag.com.
Her radio show “The Weekend Wind Down” on KYBNradio.com is on every Saturday from 3 pm to 6 pm EST – on a network that has over nearly 10 million listeners per month! You can listen to The Weekend Wind Down to hear a variety of music and you may even catch a celebrity interview during the show.
She gives to the community by volunteering her time. Some past examples include judging the former Largo Teen Idol talent show, motivating kids at Pinellas County schools by being a guest speaker, hosting/conducting celebrity interviews for the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival, and participating in other community events in Tampa and Orlando.
She also gave to Pinellas County schools by having instruments fixed for free for the music programs as well as had instruments donated through The Lexi Lewis Foundation.
